No geese allowed.

Okay, I totally understand this sign because I can read. But....aren't images like this symbol supposed to be used for people who can't read or don't know English just to create clear understanding? Everybody knows a symbol of a cigarette with a line through it means no smoking. Therefore...this sign seems to indicate "No geese allowed". They should have put a picture of a hand feeding the goose.
